Email (optional)
The only optional integration — a CLI bridge to your inbox and calendar, in two flavours.
This is the one optional piece in braynee. Everything else in The Tools is required; email is not. Skip it entirely and braynee works fully — you just won't get the inbox and calendar surface in the daily flow.
What it is
A command-line bridge that brings your inbox and calendar into the same vault-backed workflow as everything else — so "what's on today" and "what needs a reply" become part of the second brain instead of a separate app you context-switch into. It comes in two flavours; pick the one for your provider:
Google Workspace
Gmail + Google Calendar via the gws CLI.
ProtonMail
The same surface for ProtonMail users.
How it's set up
The setup wizard only detects these — it does not install them. They need your account credentials and are genuinely optional, so this is the one place braynee deliberately stops short of installing. If a supported CLI is present, the email and daily skills light up; if not, they stay quiet and nothing else is affected.
